This time, the new BYD Han has two motivations: get the money ready and sell it soon.

The official social account released a preview of the 2022 model. From the preview, we can see that the new car will provide DM-i and DM-p power, and will start pre-sale in the near future.

Judging from the previous declaration, the 2022 Han DM-i adopts a more exaggerated front face design, with a large hexagonal grille that is very eye-catching, a dot matrix design inside, and fangs-shaped air inlets on both sides of the front enclosure. The headlights are sharp in shape and have a more refined layout inside. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4975*1910*1495mm and the wheelbase is 2920 mm.

The whole tail still uses the overall design of the current model. Compared with the current DM model, the shape of the penetrating taillight of the new car has been adjusted, and the horizontal chrome trim strip in the middle has been cancelled, and the internal structure of the taillight has become more refined and more recognizable. At the same time, the lower enclosure is equipped with a large trapezoidal black guard plate, and both sides are also equipped with sharp diversion grooves to make the rear of the new car more layered.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T engine and a motor, in which the maximum power of the engine is 102kW (139HP). Combined with the previous information, the new car will use blade batteries with capacities of 18.3kWh and 37.6kWh, and NEDC’s pure electric cruising range is 121km, 202km and 242km respectively.
