On April 10th, BYD Han family made timely changes and upgrades, not only adding DM-i models, but also reinforcing EV models and DM-p models, thus further enhancing the product competitiveness.

According to official sources, the new Han family has launched nine models in four versions: Han EV Genesis Edition, Han EV Qian Shan Cui Limited Edition, Han DM-i and Han DM-p, and the price range after comprehensive subsidies is 215,800-329,800 yuan.

Han EV Genesis Edition/Qian Shan Cui Limited Edition: battery life upgrade, power improvement.

This time, the biggest highlight of Han EV is the cruising range. The data shows that the new Han EV is equipped with a blade battery with a capacity of 85.4kWh, which is 8.5kWh higher than the old model. For this reason, the cruising range (CLTC standard) of the new Han EV single-motor two-wheel drive model broke through the 700 mark, reaching 715km;; The cruising range of the dual-motor four-wheel drive model broke through the 600 mark and reached 610km. In order to solve the problem of power decline caused by the improvement of servicing quality, the new Han EV has strengthened the performance of the motor. Among them, the maximum power of the single motor model is increased to 180kW, the peak torque is increased to 350N·m, and the acceleration time is 7.9 seconds. The maximum power of the dual-motor system is increased to 380kW, the peak torque is increased to 700N·m, and the acceleration time is only 3.9 seconds, and the performance is still excellent.

In addition, the new Han EV is also optimized for styling and interior. As we all know, BYD’s hybrid technology is divided into two routes: DM-i and DM-P. The former emphasizes economy and the latter focuses on power. This time, the Han family has finally completed the DM-i system and met the needs of more consumers.

Han DM-i offers two endurance versions for consumers to choose from. Among them, the middle and low models are equipped with 18.3kWh batteries, and the NEDC pure electric cruising range is 121km;; The high-profile model is equipped with a 37.5kWh battery, and the NDEC has a pure battery life of up to 242km, which is quite high in specifications and can be called the "ceiling" of the plug-in hybrid car market.

In addition to large-capacity batteries, DM-i system also includes core components such as 1.5T high-efficiency engine and EHS electric hybrid system. With the reasonable division of labor and cooperation of all components, the fuel consumption of Han DM-i is only 4.2L per 100 kilometers in the state of power loss, and the acceleration time of zero hundred kilometers is 7.9 seconds. Compared with this class of traditional fuel vehicles, Han DM-i has many advantages in economy, power, endurance and driving quality.

In order to pursue the ultimate performance, Han DM-p is equipped with a dual-motor system with a combined maximum power of 360kW and a maximum torque of 675N·m and a battery of 37.5kWh. On the design level, the shapes of Han DM-i and DM-p are basically the same, and the optimization places are mainly the front and rear bumpers and the front grille. Compared with pure electric vehicles, DM vehicles have a "big mouth" with high recognition.

In addition to the above, the whole Han family has also upgraded its intelligent system. On the one hand, the DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system equipped with the new car has increased the functions of highway driving assistance, emergency lane keeping assistance, intelligent comity and so on, and the degree of intelligence has been further improved.
